Filmed in 2007 at Universal Studios Florida, this nighttime ride through Amity captures the attraction in an entirely different atmosphere, with the darkness allowing the lighting, fire effects and appearances of Bruce to take centre stage.
Our friend Skipper John takes us aboard for an evening tour of Amity Harbor, five years before JAWS closed for good in January 2012.
ABOUT THE FOOTAGE
JAWS was especially effective after sunset. With much of the surrounding attraction hidden in darkness, the sets, lighting and practical effects transformed Amity Harbor into a far more cinematic experience.
This 2007 recording preserves a complete nighttime voyage aboard one of Universal Studios Florida’s most beloved attractions.
